Portrait of a jazz musician. The portrait is of an African man playing an accoustic guitar. The style of dress suggest’s 1930’s.

Etching on laid paper. Sheet size: 13,9 x 15,9 cm. Image and plate size: 8,7 x 9,8 cm.
The print is an impression drawn from the original plate, included with the etching.

A small monogram in the lower right corner (JH?). We have not been able to determine the artist.

Very good, given age. A deeply inked impression with nice tone. Some foxing in the margins.
