A Centaur prepares to throw his spear. A centaur is a mythological being with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a horse.

Separately printed graphic work, numbered 16 of a hand-printed edition of 25. The print was numbered, signed and titled in pencil by the artist, in the margin below the image.
Made by ‘A.C. Ninaber van Eyben’ after own design. Antonius Cornelius (Toon) Ninaber van Eyben (1896-1977) was a Dutch artist who made stained glass, drawings and graphic art.
Condition: Very good, given age. Some paper loss in the top and lower margins, not affecting image, as often with this delicate and thin paper. The print has been mounted in a matting previously, as shown by the tape remains in the top left and right margin corners. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
