This scarce original antique print shows a portrait of Henry II (18 April 1503 – 25 May 1555), he was the King of Navarre from 1517. Auto-lithographed from the originals at Castle Howard, Yorkshire.

Made by Lord Ronald Gower after Francois Clouet. Lord Ronald Charles Sutherland-Leveson-Gower (2 August 1845 – 9 March 1916), known as Lord Ronald Gower, was a Scottish Liberal politician, sculptor and writer from the Leveson-Gower family. Francois Clouet (c. 1510-1572), son of Jean Clouet, was a French Renaissance miniaturist and painter, particularly known for his detailed portraits of the French ruling family.
Condition: Very good, given age. A few tiny unobtrusive spots. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
