Original antique master print, titled: ‘Port de Flessingue’. It shows two fishing boats in choppy water just outside Vlissingen (Flushings).
Made by Jean Jacques le Veau after Bonaventura I Peeters.
Medium: engraving / etching with hand colouring on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 49.5 x 40 cm (19.49 x 15.75 inch). Image size: 48.5 x 37.5 cm. (19.09 x 14.76 inch).
Condition: very good, given age. Margins reinforced, a printer’s fold in the right of the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography artist: Bonaventura I Peeters (1614-1652), was a flemish baroque seascape painter.
