Biography engraver: Pierre-Fran?ois Beaumont (1719-1769), French engraver and publisher based in Paris. Known for reproductions after Dutch masters. Often worked with equestrian and military themes.
Biography artist: Philips Wouwerman (1619-1668), Dutch Golden Age painter, known for his masterful depictions of horses and riding scenes; member of the Haarlem Guild of St. Luke.
