Original drawing made in 1886 signed by the monogram ‘G.v.d.L. fec 1886’, which we assume is the Dutch painter Gerard van der Laan (1844-1915). We found similar signatures on some of his other work, although such scenes are not typical for his work, which are mostly marines.
Size 29,3×22,8 cm,
Condition: Browned; paper edges chipped; paper loss in top left corner; several worm holes, mostly at top right.
