Description
(Be careful.) Father time is opening a curtain, pointing his finger to a sign of the future (l’avenir). Before him an hourglass and a peace treaty, with the seals of Prussia, Great Britain, France, Russia, and Austria. This image related to the uncertain future in 1795.
