Biography engraver: John Pye (1782-1874) was a distinguished English landscape engraver, known for his delicate line work and collaborations with top Romantic-era artists.
Biography artist: Richard Westall (1765-1836), R.A., was a British painter and illustrator, well known for his historical and literary subjects. He was Queen Victoria’s drawing master and illustrated works by Milton, Shakespeare, and others.
