BACKGROUND INFORMATION
In reverse of Hollstein Dutch 67-2(2), after Berchem, engraved by anonymous hand, attributed to Cornelis Visscher.

Biography engraver: Cornelis Visscher (1629-1658) was a Dutch Golden Age engraver and draughtsman known for his detailed etchings of landscapes, genre scenes, and portraits. He was part of a family of artists and worked in Haarlem. His works were influential and widely reproduced.
Biography artist: Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem (1620-1683), Dutch painter and draughtsman of Italianate landscapes. His work inspired generations of engravers, including the Visschers.
