From ‘The Cabinet of Genius’, published 1789 in London by Taylor.
Biography engraver: William Nutter (1759-1802) was an English draughtsman and engraver. He worked exclusively in stipple engraving in the style of Bartolozzi. Samuel Shelley (1756-1808) was a London-born artist. He was greatly influenced by Joshua Reynolds, despite being self-taught as a miniaturist.
