Made by Thomas Landseer after Edwin Landseer. Thomas Landseer (1793-1880) was a British artist best known for his engravings and etchings, particularly after paintings by his brother Edwin Landseer. Edwin Henry Landseer (1802-1873) was and English painter, well known for his paintings of dogs and horses. However, his best known works are these statues: the lions on Trafalgar Square.

Condition: Very good, given age. Bottom left corner clipped. Crease in bottom right corner. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
