This is an original antique print of Jesus in Capharnaum, healing the centurion’s son , by Christoffel van Sichem, from ‘t Schat der zielen’ , a Jesuit work about the life of Christ, published by Jacobsz Paets, Amsterdam in 1648 . This work (5 parts) contains woodblocks by v. Sichem after Bolswert, Goltzius, M. v. Heemskerck, L. v. Leyden, the Sadeler’s brothers, the brothers Wierix and others. This antique woodblock print was printed in 1648 and is in fine condition, except for a spot of the margin. There is a second image of Jesus is Naim on reverse. The overall size is 7 inch x 4,5 inch. The image sizes are 4,5 inch x 3 inch.
