Barend Cornelis Koekkoek (October 11, 1803 – April 5, 1862) was an important Dutch landscape artist and lithographer who settled in Kleve in 1834, where he also started an academy. The ‘Koekkoekshuis’ museum in Kleve boasts a substantial collection, displaying his work and that of followers.
