Woodcut on hand laid paper with watermark: bottom part of headed eagle (Ref: Laurentius 394: 1643 Joh. v. Duckheim, Strasbourg), which can be dated c.1643)

Originally published in Augsburg, c. 1450-60 (ref: Lemoisne LVIII). The impression is clearly a relief type print but the paper first half 17th.c., making this possibly a later restrike. This item can also be found as a modern restrike in Museum collections (Metropolitan).
