Biography engraver: Diana Scultori Ghisi (1547-1612) was a notable Italian engraver, among the first women to sign her works. Known as “Mantuana,” she trained under Giulio Romano.

Biography artist: Giulio Romano (1499-1546), a pupil of Raphael, was an influential Italian painter and architect of the High Renaissance.
