(The pros and cons. Unfortunately you disfigure me! … No, I make you ignorable.) A French historic figure cutting a manifest, dealing with posterity, with scissors. Probably dealing with the French Revolution. Any further input appreciated.
Etching with original hand colouring on hand laid paper. Watermark: grapes in horn (cornucopia).
Sheet size: 35 x 26,5 cm. Image size: 20,7 x 18 cm.
Engraver, artist, publisher to be determined. We found reference that this print was published in Paris by Moitey.

Condition: Good, given age. Light creasing, soiling and staining. Remains of paper on rear from previous attachment. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
