Etching on laid paper.
Sheet size: 14,9 x 6,6 cm. Image size: 13,7 x 5,6 cm.

Unsigned impression drawn from the original plate, included with the print. Attributed to Bosch based on style and similarity to other (signed) prints, as well as on the partly defaced signature (lower left) in one of the plates. The plate has been treated with lacquer (removable) for preservation purposes.

Made by Etienne Bosch after own design. Etienne Bosch (1863-1933) was a Dutch painter, draughtsman, lithographer and etcher. He was a student at the same time as Marius Bauer at the Academy in the Hague, and worked in a similar style.

Condition: Very good, given age. Margins cropped unevenly, and close to the platemark. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
