Size in cm: The overall size is ca. 22 x 15 cm. The image size is ca. 19 x 14 cm. Size in inch: The overall size is ca. 8.7 x 5.9 inch. The image size is ca. 7.5 x 5.5 inch.
Original engraved print, showing: “Onderaardse Grafkelders op d’Appiaanse weg omtrent Roome gevonden” (undergound tombs found in the vicinty of Rome, on the Via Appia/Appian Way). Besides views of the insides of tombs, it also shows “Cieraden der onderaardse Grafwelfzels” (decorations of the underground tombs). From: Cunaeus’: ‘Republyk der Hebreen.’ (Republic of the Hebrews). Artists and Engravers: Unknown, to be determined.
Condition: Very good given age, some general age-related toning, small stain to the lower margin (affecting the caption). Folds, as issued. Please study scan carefully.
