Size in cm: The overall size is ca. 49 x 39.5 cm. The image size is ca. 35 x 29 cm. Size in inch: The overall size is ca. 19.3 x 15.6 inch. The image size is ca. 13.8 x 11.4 inch.

Plate: ‘The Gamesters.’ 17th century scene with men playing card games and smoking pipe. Originally published by John Boydell 1779, this plate is a later edition ca. 1850. Our definition of a Master Print is a seperately published print or series of prints, not being an illustrative print to a text. These can both be prints made by old masters (artists) or prints made by others (artists, engravers, etchers) after old masters. Artists and Engravers: This plate by Valentine Green (1739 – 1813), British engraver after David Teniers. David Teniers the Younger (1610-1690) was a Flemish artist born in Antwerp, the son of David Teniers the Elder.
