This print shows a view on the province of Asturia, Spain. Next to the provinces Old Castilia and Gallicia. It is situated on the Gulf of Biscay. On the reverse there is a printed Dutch tekst from the book.
Made by an anonymous engraver after van der Aa.
Medium: Engraving on hand laid (verge) paper.

Condition: good, given age. Brownish paper. No margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

This print was published in: Pieter van der Aa “Delices de Espagne et Portugal” ,Leyden (Holland) in several editions between 1707-30. This print comes from the Dutch edition. It was the most enlightened work about Spain published in the first half of the 18th century.
