Made by Cornelis Apostool after Ludolf Backhuysen. Cornelis Apostool (1762 – 1844) was a Dutch artist, diplomat, and museum director. Ludolf Bakhuizen (1630 – 1708) was a German-born Dutch painter, draughtsman, calligrapher and printmaker.
Condition: Good, given age. Light foxing and light creasing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
