Antique print, untitled. This small delicate plate shows fountain with a statue of a man holding a goose in each arm. Water spouts from the geese’s beaks. Source unknown, to be determined.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Friedrich Fleischmann’ after ‘C. Heideloff’. Friedrich Fleischmann (1791-1834) worked in Nurnberg and Munich as a lithographer and stipple engraver. We have not been able to find out more about this artist.
Condition: Good, given age. Remains of tape from previous attachment on rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
