Ref: Hollstein 98.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Allart van Everdingen’ after own design. Allart van Everdingen (1621-1675) was active as a painter in Amsterdam. He traveled to Norway to make paintings of the landscape for the Trip family, who had gunfoundries there. After this trip, most of his landscapes have a Norwegian theme.
Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
