Antique print, untitled. The fourth spring in Eidsvold. Originally published ca. 1650. This plate from the edition printed in 1796. State: Second state of 2. Ref: Hollstein 98.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Allart van Everdingen’ after own design. Allart van Everdingen (1621-1675) was active as a painter in Amsterdam. He traveled to Norway to make paintings of the landscape for the Trip family, who had gunfoundries there. After this trip, most of his landscapes have a Norwegian theme.

Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
