Antique print, titled: ”Institution de l”ordre Chevaleresque des Gueux.” – The institution of the ”knightly order” of the Beggars (Geuzen) in april 1666 in Brussels. A shield in the middle of the image lists a few names of members, such as Hendrik van Brederode, Lodewijk van Nassau, Diederik Sonoy, Adolf van der Aa and others. Source unknown, to be determined.Artists and Engravers: Anonymous.

Condition: Good, given age. Several wormholes in the right margin and one in the lower right edge of the image. Some small stains in margin and in print. Original middle fold, as issued. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
