Biography engraver: Jacob van Meurs (1619-1680), a Dutch engraver and publisher, worked primarily in Amsterdam, creating numerous portraits and historical scenes.

Biography artist: Gerard van Honthorst (1592-1656), Dutch painter of the Golden Age, known for his portraits and genre scenes, active in the court of Frederik Hendrik.
