Medium: Etching and stipple engraving on hand laid (verge) paper. Watermark: large unidentiefied.

Sheet size: 36 x 51 cm (14.17 x 20.08 inch). Image size: 37.7 x 54.6 cm. (14.84 x 21.5 inch).

Condition: good, given age. Light soiling. Small tear in bottom paper edge. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Christian Forssell (1777?1852) was a Swedish artist known for his stipple engravings and etchings.

Biography artist: Charles Le Brun (1619?1690) was a French painter and the dominant artist of the 17th century. He was known for his works at Versailles and served as the court painter for Louis XIV.
