Francisco Primo, Caesari Augusto, Invicto Felici (…) – This plate shows Francis I and his wife surrounded by family members. Francis I (1708 – 1765) was Holy Roman Emperor and Grand Duke of Tuscany, though his wife, Maria Theresa, effectively executed the real powers of those positions.

Made by ‘Joan Daniel Herz’ after an anonymous artist. Johann / Johannes Daniel I Herz / Hertz (1693-1754), German artist and engraver from Augsburg, founder of the Kaiserlich Franziskiche Academie.

Condition: Fair, given age. Cut from original plate and attached to carrier sheet. Some crinkles or minor creases. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
