BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Publisher: Gerard onder de Linden, Reinier Boitet.

Biography engraver: Andries van Buysen (Sr.) (c.1674-1747) was a Dutch engraver, etcher, draughtsman, and mezzotinter. Frederik Ottens (1694-1727) was a Dutch printmaker and draughtsman, was active in both Amsterdam and Delft. He was the son and student of Joachim Ottens. Ottens contributed to the world of art through his printmaking and draughtsmanship, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire.

Biography artist: Louis Fabritius Dubourg (1693-1775) was an historical and academic painter of arcadian landscapes, and an engraver.
