Biography engraver: Auguste Pequegnot (1819-1878) was a French painter and engraver. He painted mainly landscapes and women, under tutelage of Master Ciceri. His main engraving work was ‘Ornements Vases et Decorations’, a series of 100 etchings of architectural, sculptural and decorative arts. Pierre Ranson (1736-1786) was a French flower and arabesque painter and decoration designer.
