Plate 71: ‘Damasus en Urcinus beijde naar ‘t Bisschops ampt staande verwekken een moord in de kerk’ (Damasus and Ursinus, both vying for the position of bishop, cause a murder in the church). It shows: A large group of people scrapping inside a church. This original engraving originates from ‘Tafereelen der eerste Christenen, bestaande in 92 konstprenten’ (Scenes of the first Christians, in 92 prints). This book was published in 1740 in Amsterdam by Gerrity de Groot and Jacobus Rijkhof. The prints by Luyken are accompanied by texts by P. Langendyk and C.
