Condition: good, given age. Collectors mark slightly shining through. Some staining mostly visible on rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Pieter de Mare (Leiden; 1758-1796) was a Dutch etcher and engraver, active in Leiden and a student of Abraham Delfos.
Biography artist: Christina Chalon (1748-1808) was born in Amsterdam. She studied painting under Sara Troost and Ploos van Amstel. She devoted herself more to etching, however. She left ca. 30 plates.
