Biography engraver: Jurriaan Cootwijck (1714-1798) was a Dutch drawer and printmaker. He was born on May 3, 1714, and died on January 9, 1798, both in Amsterdam. His occupations included being a silversmith, drawer, engraver, copyist, and printmaker. He worked in Amsterdam from 1734 to 1798. His religion or worldview was the Catholic Church.
Biography artist: Paulus Potter (20 November 1625 (baptised) – 17 January 1654 (buried)) was a Dutch painter who specialized in animals within landscapes, usually with a low vantage point. Before Potter died of tuberculosis at the age of 28 he succeeded in producing about 100 paintings, working continuously.
