Biography engraver: Johannes / Jan Glauber (1646, Utrecht (city) – c. 1726, Schoonhoven) anso named Polydore was a Dutch Golden Age landscape painter and etcher. He wasa student of Nicolaes Berchem and G. Uilenburgh. He travelled widely to Paris, Rome and Hamburg before returning to Amsterdam to work with Gerard de Lairesse.
