Biography engraver: Karl Postl (1769-1818) was an Austrian painter and printmaker active in Prague. He taught landscape painting at the Prague Academy and worked as a scenic painter for the Estates Theatre. His works, often blending classicism and romanticism, focused on panoramic city views. His students included Antonin Manes, a major figure in Czech landscape painting.
Biography artist: Lorenz Janscha (1749-1812) was an Austrian-Slovenian landscape painter, vedute drident and etcher.
