Condition: very good, given age. Light foxing, creasing, and soiling. Printed from 2 plates. A few pinsize holes. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Jacobus Houbraken (1698-1780) was a Dutch engraver renowned for his finely detailed portrait engravings, especially those featured in historical publications like Heads of Illustrious Persons of Great Britain.

Biography artist: Jan Maurits Quinkhard (1688-1772) was a Dutch painter and draftsman, known for portraits and historical subjects. He was active in Amsterdam and was also involved in book illustration.
