BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Part of a larger work titled Repr?sentation der Fuerstlichen Aufzug Stuttgart, created to the the marriage of Herzog Johann Friedrich von Wurttenberg and Barbara Sophie, Markgrafin zu Brandenburg in Stuttgart in 1609, published in 1611.
Biography engraver: Balthasar Kuchler (c.1571-1641) was a German engraver known for his detailed and intricate works commemorating courtly events and processions.
