Antique print, untitled. Statues of Greek deities. One is Hermes/Mercury. Reproduced from the Richardson Collection, with his stamp in the bottom left corner of the image. From the set “Imitations of ancient & modern Drawings”in the second edition of 1798.. Artists and Engravers: Made by Conrad Martin Metz after Parmegiano. Francesco Mazzuoli Parmigiano (1504-—1540) is one of the most noted of Correggio’s followers, but falls far behind his master.
Condition: Excellent, given age. Attached to carrier. A small tear in the left margin of the carrier. Collection stamp in the bottom left corner of the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
