Antique drawing, untitled. Rare antique drawing of a colonial landscape. View of a landscape with ancient building and people walking, on horseback and in boats rowing and sailing. Possibly a view of the East Indies: Indonesia or India. Pen in brown, with additions in watercolor. Reference to D.A. Clemens in pencil on rear.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘D. A. Clemens’ after own design. Based on the paper and quality of drawing D. A. Clemens was probably active as an amateur in the colonies around 1690-1700.

Condition: Fair, given age. No margins, browned, small restored hole upper right corner. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
