Made by ‘Domenico Tibaldi after Cornelis Cort’ after ‘Giulio Clovio’. Domenico Tibaldi Pellegrino / Pellegrini Tibaldi (1541-1583) with monogram D.F. on the plate which stands for Domenico Tibaldi Fecit. After Cornelis Cort (1533-1578) who was a Dutch engraver and draughtsman. He spent the last 12 years of his life in Italy, where he was known as Cornelio Fiammingo.
Condition: Good, given age. Some soiling, particularly in bottom right corner. Remains of writing in bottom margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
