Plate: ‘Louis Seize Roi des Francais …’; Charles-Clement Bervic (=Charles-Clement Balvay (1756-1822)) after Antoine-Francois Callet (1741-1823); Sheet c.54 x c.62 cm; Image c.51.5 x c.68 cm; Early ed. on hand-laid paper, c.1790; Condition: Good given it’s age and size: small white spot at top image edge; a few very small worm holes; some ligth creasing, which appears to be from the printing process; some minor dampstaining in margins; a few thin paper spots, which are backed. Some paper separation at plate marks, which are backed; small paper loss at top right corner, backed.
