Made by Gerard Audran after Pierre Mignard.
Medium: Etching/Engraving on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 37.3 x 28.9 cm (14.69 x 11.38 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Light surface damage. Small red stain. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Gerard Audran (or Girard Audran) (2 August 1640 – 26 July 1703), was a French engraver of the Audran family, the third son of Claude Audran.
Biography artist: Pierre Mignard or Pierre Mignard I (17 November 1612 – 30 May 1695), called “Mignard le Romain” to distinguish him from his brother Nicolas Mignard, was a French painter known for his religious and mythological scenes and portraits. He was a near-contemporary of the Premier Peintre du Roi Charles Le Brun with whom he engaged in a bitter, life-long rivalry.
