Condition: good, given age. Light creasing, foxing and soiling. Trimmed to the plate and attached to a carrier sheet. Origanal fold as issued. Paper separation at top and lower fold. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Biography engraver: Wenzel (Vaclav) Hollar (1607-1677) was a Bohemian-born engraver and etcher active in Germany, England, and the Low Countries, celebrated for his refined line work, topographical views, and reproductive prints after major European masters.
Biography artist: Paolo Veronese (1528-1588) was a leading Venetian Renaissance painter, famed for grand narrative canvases, sumptuous colour, and monumental architectural settings. David Teniers the Younger (1610-1690) was a Flemish painter and court artist who compiled and disseminated Archduke Leopold Wilhelm’s collection through Theatrum Pictorium, providing models for many reproductive prints.
