Biography engraver: Richard Earlom (1743-1822) was an reknown English mezzotint engraver. He displayed great skill as a draughtsman, and at the same time acquired without assistance the art of engraving in mezzotint.

Biography artist: Luca Giordano (1634-1705), an Italian Baroque painter renowned for his dynamic compositions and mythological scenes.
