‘P.H. Jantzen out 30 Jaren.’

Washed ink drawing on handlaid (verge) paper. Watermark: C & I Honig.
Sheet size: 38,7 x 33,5 cm. (15,2 x 13,2 inch). Image size: 32 x 27,5 cm. (12,6 x 10,8 inch).

Probably part of a series. In the lower margin is written ‘no. 8’. A nice piece of folk art.

Made by ‘P.H. Jantzen’ after own design. P.H. Jantzen made this watercolour when he was 30 years of age. (‘out 30 jaren’)

Condition: Good, given age. Stains in margins. Brownish. Ghosting from previous matting. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
