Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate, showing “de watervaten der longen, die van het achterste middelvlies, van het keelgat, van de regter leverkwab, almede van boven de inmondingen der watervatenstammen in de aderen” (the lymphatic vessels in the lungs, of the rear mesentery, the throat, right liver, and the debouchment of the lymphatic stems in the veins). Plate CXXXVII from volume 2. From: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
