Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate, showing “watervaten van het hoofd, den hals en van het voorste gedeelte van den borst” (the lymphatic vessels of the head, neck and the front part of the chest). Plate CXXXVI from volume 2. From: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
