Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate, showing “oppervlakkige watervaten van den achtersten omtrek des romps en des regter arms, alsmede van de diepliggende watervaten der regter bil en van het achterste gedeelte der linker dije” (the superficial lymphatic vessels of the rear of the torso and right arm, the deeper vessels of the right buttock en of the rear part of the left thigh). Plate CXXXIV from volume 2. From: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
