Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate, showing “de oppervlakkige watervaten van het hoofd, de borst en van het bovenste gedeelte des buiks, alsmede die der bovenste ledematen” (the superficial lymphatic vessels of the head, chest and upper part of the stomach, as well as the upper limbs). Plate CXXXIII from volume 2. From: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
