Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate, showing “de diepliggende watervaten des linker arms, der borst en des hals” (the deep lymphatic vessels of the left arm, the chest and the neck). Plate CXXXV from volume 2. From: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
