Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate showing “de diepliggende aderen des hoofds, des hals en der wervelkolom” (the deep veins of the head, neck and spinal cord). Plate XCIV from volume 2. From: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
